Privacy Policy

SkipChat is designed with privacy as a default. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service safely.

What we collect

We do not require account registration. We collect: IP addresses (for abuse prevention), Cloudflare Turnstile verification tokens (not stored after validation), and session identifiers (ephemeral, not linked to identity).

Device fingerprinting

We derive a pseudonymous device fingerprint for ban enforcement. This fingerprint is one-way hashed and cannot be reversed to identify you personally.

Report evidence

When a report is filed, we capture a time-limited encrypted evidence bundle (AES-256-GCM). Evidence is stored for up to 60 days and then automatically purged, unless required for an active legal proceeding.

Third-party services

We use Cloudflare for networking, DDoS protection, and bot detection. Cloudflare's privacy practices apply to traffic traversing their network.
